So today was our office holiday lunch. Every year we go to the restaurant below our office. This year my dad did not join us, because he was too sick. In fact, he left the office early. There is a good chance he will not be in tomorrow, especially since it supposed to be bad weather, a snow and rain mix. Should make the commute home rather exciting. Mix road rage and snow, not good.

I personally like winter, better than summer anyway. I would much rather be in cold weather than sweating my ass off all day. The only thing I am not too fond of is the driving, well not in the car I have now anyway. When I still had my Saturn, I was able to plow threw anything. That car was indestructible, or maybe I was just much more reckless back then. I would never try anything crazy in my Solara. I need that car to last awhile. I got it in 2001 and so far not a single problem.

Today the Yankees announced CC Sabathia and AJ Burnett, whats up with all the initials, anyhow, CC claimed he signed with the Yankees because they give him the best chance to win a championship. Hmmmm, has he read the papers or watched ESPN the last eight years. Unless they told him something we are not privy too, the Yankees need a lot more help to win a championship. Don't get me wrong I hope they do win it all, but other than CC, Wang and Joba, they really don't have anyone else, and I am afraid AJ will be another Carl Pavano....we all remember, I hurt my ass and cant picth Pavano, now don't we. Well let's see how the rest of the winter pans out. There is still a long way until spring training.
